Life can change in an instant — and when it does, a loyal pet is often the only constant source of love and comfort a person has left. These animals stay by their humans’ sides through cold nights, rainstorms, hunger, and uncertainty…and they ask for nothing in return. That is why our Home Street Home project exists. In 2025, we will begin our 6th year delivering Holiday Love Bags to the pets of people experiencing homelessness.

Our volunteers go directly into homeless camps — not to judge, but to help. We listen. We care. And we make sure no animal is forgotten in the struggle of surviving on the streets. Each Animal Victory Love Bag is tax-deductible and costs $30 to create. Every bag is filled with items chosen with love and dignity in mind, including: Dog and cat food Treats and snacks Toys for comfort Harnesses and leash leads Bowls for clean drinking water Warm blankets Socks, hats, and rain gear These bags do more than meet basic needs — they bring joy, relief, and hope to people who have so little and love their pets so deeply. Additional donations help us go even further, providing: Emergency veterinary care, Spay/neuter services, Tents and tarps for shelter, Pet strollers and carriers, Sleeping bags and camp pillows. These larger items protect both the pet and the person who depends on them.

Whether we like it or not, or want to believe it or not, the truth is this: millions of dogs and cats are born each year with no home, and many will starve or be abused. Give them a chance with someone who will love them — homeless or not.
