Animal Victory Disaster and Abuse Fund was built to support small, credible rescues, and our intention is for that mission to continue beyond any one person. Our founder’s commitment to animal welfare is lifelong. We intend to pass leadership to capable people or explore partnerships that can carry our projects forward. If the Fund ever needed to close, our intention would be for remaining charitable assets to support vetted small rescues in the United States and potentially abroad, subject to applicable law and donor restrictions. These plans remain to be formalized. If you are considering a legacy gift, our Legacy Giving Guide provides the nonprofit’s identifying information for your attorney, who can also help name an alternative charitable beneficiary.
