Paul Mueller

Podcast Host & Co-Founder

Paul Mueller is a former TV journalist turned full-time animal advocate, investigator, and storyteller. With more than 30 years of experience in television news, Paul now uses his voice and platform to expose cruelty, highlight urgent rescue cases, and push for justice — one animal at a time.

After retiring from news, Paul went all in on animal welfare, blending his investigative instincts with compassion and relentless advocacy. From tracking down abusers to connecting with district attorneys and mobilizing thousands online, Paul shines a light on the dark corners where animals are forgotten, abused, or silenced.

Now based in Texas, Paul continues to fight for the voiceless — on the ground, online, and in front of the camera.

Janelle Babington

Podcast Co-Host & Executive Producer

Janelle Babington is the founder and executive director of Animal Victory Disaster & Abuse Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since 2019, she has built Animal Victory into a national platform that petitions for investigations, demands strict punishments for animal abusers, and funds the credible small rescues working to save animals every day.

Her work began after Hurricane Florence hit Wilmington, North Carolina in 2018, where she witnessed firsthand the devastating gap between what rescues needed and what they received. That experience ignited a mission she has never stopped pursuing.

As co-host and executive producer of The Animal Court, Janelle brings her decade of advocacy, operational leadership, and deep knowledge of the animal welfare landscape to every episode.
