Helping Animals In Crises And Disasters Project

This project is a lifeline for animals caught in the chaos of natural disasters and war zones. Through the concerted efforts of various animal welfare organizations in the affected regions, we deploy funds and supplies swiftly and efficiently, utilizing vital resources to support the animals. This is an existing ongoing program. Since 2022, we have worked with well over 50 organizations and helped rescue hundreds of animals.

Begging for Help Project

“Begging for Help” is a distinctive funding initiative that provides vital financial assistance for low-cost spay and neuter services. These services are primarily aimed at smaller groups and individuals within the United States. These dedicated individuals and organizations often utilize their resources to manage the population of cats and dogs in their local communities through spaying or neutering. The ultimate objective is to maintain a balanced population of these animals. This initiative contributes to the health and safety of communities and reduces animal cruelty by decreasing the number of stray animals on the streets.

Home Street Home Project

Home Street Home serves dogs and cats belonging to individuals experiencing homelessness. This program is an organized annual effort, particularly active during the November and December holidays, aimed at providing food, supplies, and veterinary care for these pets. Provided there are sufficient funds, we operate this program year-round, with plans to expand to additional locations.

AVDAF collaborates with its affiliate, Animal Victory, a for-profit organization, to shoulder operating costs. This compassionate advocacy group battles against animal abuse through petitions. By jointly managing overhead, marketing, and administrative expenses, both organizations conserve resources. They leverage petitions and other campaigns to promote animal welfare issues, reaching a larger audience and gaining wider exposure to animal aid. For those seeking a tax deduction while supporting our petition efforts, donations can be made through the fund, creating a win-win situation.

How much of my donation goes toward helping animals?

The Animal Victory Disaster and Abuse Fund allocates approximately 70% of all gifts directly to three lifesaving animal protection projects. The remaining funds support our infrastructure and operations. Like any nonprofit organization, Animal Victory conducts marketing, fundraising, and public awareness campaigns aimed at reaching animal lovers, growing our supporters, and influencing key decision-makers in the public and private sectors. Supporters and others can view the breakdown of our spending ratios and the work made possible by their donations in our annual reports and 990 forms.
