It is a heavy and solid piece. A tow horse rider was someone who accompanied the horse in the past to pull boats and cargo ships in rivers or canals. This was hard work, as the ships had to be pulled upstream or against the wind. The miniature is hallmarked with the 'sword' mark for at least second grade silver. In good condition.
