The cable connects that port to the 16 pin OBD2 (J1962) connector on your OBDSTAR device and plugs into the factory diagnostic port on the truck's side. Scania equipped these vehicles with a proprietary round 4 pin port instead of a standard OBD2 connection. This port carries the K line, the communication protocol used by older Scania diagnostic systems. The cable itself
